The Teen program is a partnership between Teen participants and Advisor volunteers. Each group holds authority and accepts accountability for their actions and experience. Rules and restrictions are devised in a manner that creates a safe and nurturing environment, and allows maximum flexibility for all involved. In all cases we honor the requirements of our host facility, the rules of our event, the policies and Principles of our organization and all applicable laws.

We acknowledge and celebrate that the Teens, Advisors, Ministers and Families in the Northeast Region have bonded and connected across cities, Centers and organizations. These include Centers for Spiritual Living, Affiliated New Thought Network Centers, Unity Churches, Independent New Thought groups, and others who are yearning for something New. Our growth has been a reflection of the openness we have demonstrated in welcoming the diversity of all participants, and the respectful way that we support each group’s characteristics and qualities. All are welcome and enthusiastically encouraged to join us!

Our leadership is outward facing. The leaders communicate clearly and consistently with each other and all participants to ensure that all voices are heard and that all requirements are addressed. Our leadership includes both Teens and Advisors so as to make the best use of the unique gifts that each presents. Advisors provide infrastructure, organization, guidance and a longer view to support the teens’ vision, intention and enthusiasm. The goal of our leadership is to create and empower positive and life-affirming experiences while fostering the emergence of our next group of leaders.
